At Association Enn Rev Enn Sourir, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and confidence. As part of our 10th Anniversary initiatives, we are proud to launch the Prosthetic Support Project, an initiative dedicated to supporting children and adults who require a prosthetic limb but face financial, medical, or logistical barriers to accessing this life-changing care.
Each year, many people lose a limb as a result of cancer, diabetes, road traffic accidents, congenital conditions, infections, or other serious illnesses. Beyond the physical loss, amputation often brings significant emotional, psychological, social, and financial challenges. Our project provides comprehensive support to ensure that no patient has to face this journey alone.
Our Mission
To improve access to prosthetic care through personalized patient navigation, psychosocial support, fundraising assistance, and advocacy. Our mission is to help beneficiaries regain their mobility, restore their independence, and improve their overall quality of life.
Our Vision
To build a society where every person requiring a prosthesis has equitable access to quality prosthetic care, rehabilitation services, and the opportunity to live an independent and fulfilling life, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Our Goals
Facilitate access to prosthetic services in Mauritius and, when necessary, abroad.
Provide personalized patient navigation throughout the medical treatment, prosthetic fitting, and rehabilitation journey.
Offer nutritional, psychosocial, and psychological support tailored to each beneficiary’s needs.
Organize fundraising campaigns and partnerships to reduce the financial barriers associated with prosthetic care.
Advocate for equitable access to prosthetic services and comprehensive rehabilitation.
Raise public awareness about disability inclusion, rehabilitation, and the prevention of limb loss.
Provide ongoing follow-up to promote rehabilitation, independence, and successful social reintegration.
